Getting in Touch: What to Include and What to Expect

A clear first message helps us respond quickly and point you in the right direction. When you write to us, it is useful to mention the reason for your enquiry, such as a routine check-up, a hygiene appointment, a question about an existing treatment plan or a new problem like sensitivity or a broken filling. Let us know which days and times generally suit you, and whether you prefer to be contacted in English, German or Italian, as many patients in Bolzano are comfortable in more than one language.

Useful details to share

• Your full name and a way to reach you during the day
• A short description of your symptoms or the treatment you are interested in
• Whether you are a new or returning patient
• Any relevant medical conditions, allergies or medications you take regularly
• Recent X-rays or treatment records from another dentist, if you have them

Please avoid sending highly sensitive health documents unless you are asked for them. We can discuss medical history in person or through a more suitable channel.

If you are in pain

Email is not ideal for urgent problems. If you have severe swelling, a fever with tooth pain, difficulty swallowing or breathing, or an injury to the face or jaw, seek medical help straight away through local emergency services or the nearest hospital. For less serious discomfort, describe it clearly in your message so we can judge how soon you should be seen.
